The Ugliness of Puberty

I live on the 5th floor.
But there is a pleasant young boy who lives on the 4th floor.
He's around the age of 10 and sings beautifully.
He sings all the time.

I can always hear him while I lie down in my bed, which is under the window. He sings loud and clear for me to be able to hear every word. He sings in Arabic and English. He has no broken letters. He is good.

I sincerely hope that this kid makes singing his profession. I really hope his voice makes it through the ugliness of puberty. I've known so many beautiful male voices that have died out at that phase of their lives. I hope it continues to be lovely. I hope I see him on TV one day.

Your post reminded me of an old 80s song called "My Name Is Luka" by a singer named Suzanne Vega.

Do you know it?

It goes:
"My name is Luka, I live on the 2nd floor. I live upstairs from you, yes, I think you've seen me before."

I used to love that song! :)

Mumbo Jumbo;

I love that song for Suzanne Vega even though I wasnt actually her biggest fan. :)

Sukie; I dont know if I had a nice voice before puberty, but everyone told me since I was born that when I sing I make a mess. :)

I just cant stop singing though!

Who said you have to stop?

Never stop singing. It's fun even if you're making a scene. Enjoy it.
